Indian PM Manmohan Singh announced a cross-party IP telecom scandal believed to have cost the nation 40000000000 $ (£ 24.5bn).
Mr Singh called for a peaceful parliamentary session and said he was “committed against corruption.”
Opposition demands probe was blocked last session of Parliament to stop what a decisive legislation.
A former telecommunications minister Raja was arrested in February in connection with the allegations.
